Make a Sterling Silver Pendant – Thursday Evening

Spend your Thursday evening with tutor Fabio Oliveira in this 3.5 hour workshop and design and make your own Sterling Silver pendant.

Whether you're a complete beginner or have some prior jewellery making experience, with simple designs for reference and guidance you'll make a completely unique pendant of your own creation while gaining an understanding of design development and jewellery fabrication.

Materials are included in the cost of the workshop and no experience is necessary.
All skill levels (18+) are welcome

Here's what you’ll Learn:

• • How to use a piercing saw.

  • How to anneal silver.

  • How to use the pickle bath.

  • How to solder silver.

  • How to add texture using hammers and metal stamps.

  • How to sand and finish edges.

  • How to finish and polish your final piece.

Here's what to Wear:
Avoid wearing loose clothing and jewellery and don’t forget to tie back long hair. Closed toe shoes are required on all of our workshop floors. If you need glasses for close up work, don't forget to bring them.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
PPE will be provided by benchspace for all courses that require it. It must be worn as directed. All specialist equipment and materials will be provided.
