Make a Set of Stacking Rings – Saturday Afternoon – CRAFT MONTH
August Craft Month shines a spotlight on Ireland’s thriving craft scene and provides unique opportunities for people to make, see, learn about, and buy craft. Whether you’re curious to learn, eager to create, or looking to discover something handmade and meaningful, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
benchspace Bites are short introductory sessions for beginners designed to provide participants with a taster of our disciplines.
Whether a hobbyist, enthusiast or considering a career in jewellery-making, we will explore fundamental skills and you will create your very own piece in a single class.
Add some creativity to your weekend and spend your Saturday afternoon with tutor Nadine, learning how to make a set of six stacking rings from sterling silver and brass or copper in this 4-hour guided class.
Choose from a selection of design samples, find your ring size, and get started on your custom set. Nadine will guide you through the process step by step, and by the end, you’ll have your own handmade ring set to take home:
- 1 x 4mm wide band ring
- 1 x 1.5mm round ring
- 1 x 1.3mm round wave ring
- 1 x 1.5mm rondelle or beaded ring
- 2 x 1.2mm copper or brass round rings
Materials are included in the cost of the workshop and no experience is necessary.
We are fully inclusive and all skill levels (Adult 18+) are welcome, however, please note that this course requires hand-eye coordination and the ability to follow precise instructions with regards to safety.
