Machine Making II Woodwork Course – Infinity Table – Sept 2024

Have you completed our Machine Making I woodwork course and would now like to advance your skills?

During this 10 week course you will work with tutor Rod to complete a more advanced furniture project, which will help you foster precision and efficiency in various woodwork machinery tasks while you get even more familiar with the beauties listed below.

It is designed to develop your knowledge by building on relevant steps to safe machine procedures and advanced machine making, and by the end of this course you will have further progressed valuable skills while completing an Infinity Table.


Due to the nature of the machines being used, the course is limited to 6 places to allow each student enough time and attention with the machine and tutor. 

Materials are included in the cost of the course.
We are fully inclusive and Adults 18+ are welcome, but please note it is necessary for you to have some knowledge and woodwork experience in order to enrol on this course.  Ideally, you will have already completed our Machine Making I woodwork course.

If you have not previously completed an evening course with benchspace then please contact hello@benchspacecork.ie before booking, outlining your previous experience, so we can assess with you if this course is right for you.

Where to Go:
This class is held in our O15 unit located at Eircode T12 YAE4.

Here's what to Wear:
Avoid wearing loose clothing and jewellery and don’t forget to tie back long hair. Closed toe shoes are required on all of our workshop floors. If you need glasses for close up work, don't forget to bring them.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
PPE will be provided by benchspace for all courses that require it. It must be worn as directed. All specialist equipment and materials will be provided.
