Want to make a handmade gift for a friend or loved one for Christmas? Benchspace Bites are short introductory sessions for beginners where you can make your very own piece in a single class. Want to get started in woodworking but don’t know where to begin, or maybe you’d like a nice handmade Serving Board for yourself or as a gift? Then join our tutor David in this guided making session from our Bites Series, where you'll make a Serving Board from our locally sourced Irish hardwood. Materials are included in the cost of the workshop and no experience is necessary. We are fully inclusive and all skill levels (18+) are welcome, however, please note that this course requires hand-eye coordination and the ability to follow precise instructions with regards to safety. Where to Go: This class is held in our O15 unit located at Eircode T12 YAE4. Here's what to Wear: Avoid wearing loose clothing and jewellery and don’t forget to tie back long hair. Closed toe shoes are required on all of our workshop floors. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) PPE will be provided by benchspace for all courses that require it. It must be worn as directed.
