Class or Course Cancellations

• A refund will be issued where cancellation requests are received 14 days in advance of your booked date, minus a €5 booking fee per person booked. For instance, to receive a refund for a booking on the 15^th, your request must be received 14 days beforehand, on the 1^st at the latest.
• A 50% refund will be issued where cancellation requests are received 8-13 days in advance of your booked date. For instance, to receive a 50% refund for a booking on the 15^th, your request must be received between the 2^nd to 7^th inclusive.
• No refund is possible for cancellation requests received 7 days or less before your booked date. For instance, for a booking on the 15^th, no refund will be issued if requested from and including the 8^th onwards.
• It is possible to transfer your booking to another person no later than 2 working days before your booked date, you must nominate that person by email to us, including your booking details, via hello@benchspacecork.ie.
• Class or course no-shows cannot be refunded or postponed after the fact.
• It can take 5 to 10 working days from initiation for refunds to be processed and they will be refunded to the card the booking was made with.

Class or Course Postponements

• To postpone your class or course booking, you can do so up to 7 days in advance of your booked date. For instance, to postpone a booking on the 15^th, your request must be received 7 days beforehand, on the 7^th at the latest.
• You can postpone your booking to another date once only.
• There is no charge incurred to postpone a booking.
• It is possible to transfer your booking to another person no later than 2 working days before your booked date, you must nominate that person by email to us, including your booking details, via hello@benchspacecork.ie.
• Class or course no-shows cannot be refunded or postponed after the fact.

Cancellations by Benchspace

• Some of our classes require a minimum number of participants to run and we will notify you 2 days before your class if it does not reach minimum enrolment.
• In this instance we will offer you alternative class dates and if they do not suit, you can request a full refund.

Late Arrival

• We currently have two workshops, please ensure you arrive at the correct one.
• Please note that all sessions begin on time and cannot be restarted for latecomers.
• Please arrive 10 minutes ahead of the scheduled time for your booking to ensure you receive crucial safety information regarding your class.
• Time will not be added to classes to make up for late arrivals.
• If you arrive too late to your class to receive the necessary briefings, you will not be able to participate and no rescheduling of the class or refunds will be due.

Missed Course Classes

• It is the attendee’s responsibility to make sure you attend all classes scheduled for your course.
• If you are unable to attend classes or fail to complete your course you are not entitled to a refund, postponement, make-up classes, or participation in another course.
• Time will not be added to classes or courses to make up for late arrival or missed classes.
• Tutors may be able to work with you in certain instances to bring you up to speed, but not at the loss of time and/or workflow to the rest of the course participants. This will be determined on a case by case basis and decisions are at the discretion of Benchspace.

Paying in Instalments

• We offer the option of instalment payments to allow a flexible payment solution that aligns with your needs while ensuring a smooth and enjoyable learning experience.

Gift Vouchers

• Gift vouchers are valid from the date of purchase until their expiry date.
• Gift vouchers cannot be extended, are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• No change or gift vouchers will be issued for unused balances.
• Gift vouchers are redeemed upon booking.
• Gift vouchers are valid for single redemption only. Both the purchaser and the recipient have a responsibility to ensure the unique voucher number is not disclosed to others.
• Gift vouchers do not ensure availability of space or precedence for the recipient for class or course bookings.
• Bookings made using gift vouchers are subject to our standard booking policy and the same cancellation and postponement conditions apply.
• Bookings using gift vouchers are subject to availability and change.
• Prices for classes and courses change over time. Class and course specific gift vouchers may require additional payment by the redeemer upon booking.
• To make a booking using a gift voucher, the unique voucher number is required by the redeemer.

Here’s what to Wear:

• Avoid wearing loose clothing and jewellery.
• Tie back long hair.
• Closed toe shoes are required on all of our workshop floors.
• If you need glasses for close up work, don’t forget to bring them.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

• PPE will be provided by Benchspace for all classes and courses that require it and it must be worn as directed.
