A big thank you to everyone who helped to prepare the Benchspace workshop over the last few weeks. All that cleaning and painting has created a great inside space for our furniture makers.
Now we need another effort to make the workshop secure. We’re asking for volunteers this Saturday the 10th of June to help us with some fit-out work. We have a number of tasks that we hope to complete in a single day and we need all the help we can get.
Help us make Benchspace a reality.
The single biggest task is to remake the front door. The existing door has reached the end of its life, and we need to replace it with something more secure. Also we have work benches and storage that we need to complete. We will bring the materials and the tools, we need you to bring your energy and enthusiasm to help us complete the job. If you can spare an hour, or an afternoon we’d really appreciate it.
