We are looking for a Partnerships and Funding Lead to help drive growth and innovation at Ireland’s leading makerspace.

This unique role blends creativity and strategy, as you forge partnerships with key stakeholders, uncover funding opportunities, and turn big ideas into reality.

The role begins part-time with a focus on partnerships and funding, but we hope the right person will see the potential to grow with us and take on more responsibility over time.

We’re looking for someone with experience in partnerships and funding—not necessarily in this sector—who’s passionate about creative making (and Cork!). A team player who can take ideas and see them through, someone who loves pulling all the threads together to make big things happen.

We envision this role encompassing the following responsibilities:

Monitor Grant Opportunities: Keep track of the grant landscape, including EU programmes, to find opportunities that align with our development goals.

Manage Grant Applications: Handle the process from preparation and submission through to successful outcomes.

Coordinate Programme Delivery: Oversee bursaries and programmes, including drawdowns, milestones, scheduling and reporting.

Foster Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain connections with business stakeholders through networking and engagement.

Develop Funding Initiatives: Create and implement strategies for funding and donations.

Expand Marketing Reach: Explore and use new marketing channels to enhance visibility.

Plan Awareness Events: Organise events to raise our organisation’s profile.

Deliver Impact Reports: Prepare concise reports to evaluate and share outcomes effectively.

The Details:

Salary:  €42,000-€50,000 prorated (€25,200 – €30,000 – 3 days). Contract of service for a fixed term basis of 1 year with a view to extend.

Part-Time:  3 days per week

Location:  2 days in Benchspace’s offices in the Docklands in Cork City ,with an option for 1 day remote working.
