Have you always wanted to start a creative career but don’t have the resources or support to do so?
The Benchspace “Rising Sparks Programme” will engage 200 participants from marginalised and economically disadvantaged communities in a structured programme of
hands-on artistic practice and creative design skills development across three staggered phases with a total duration of 3 years.
The aim of this project will be to support the transition of individuals from these communities into long term artistic and creative livelihoods.
Five of these creatives will be offered year-long support to discover and nurture their talents before showing their ability to the wider community at a special Rising Sparks Exhibition.
The initial phase EXPLORE (links to apply below) will see 200 participants explore a diverse range of disciplines through introductory single day workshops. It will take place over 18 month
across twenty workshops(10 participants in each) and will provide opportunities to engage in creativity and making at Benchspace.
Initial classes are taking place on October 23rd, November 12th , December 3rd.
