Wouldn’t it be amazing if a stroll through a forest provided you with the materials for your next project.
Green woodworking is a craft in which ‘green’ or fresh, unseasoned wood is worked into finished items using traditional hand tools.
Join us for a 2 day course this October on the traditional techniques, tips and tricks that will take you from freshly fallen wood to a beautiful finished piece.
We provide all the tools and materials including some beautiful native green ash timber.
This event will be held in Mark Donnelly’s Sawmill/Workshop on the edge of the city, we think it will provide a better experience and allows access to a lot of materials. Please bring a packed lunch for each day, we will provide the teas, coffees, water and biscuits. The nearest Spar is about 1km into Ballincollig.
A minimum class of 6 is required to run this event. 18 years or older. Price includes all materials and Eventbrite fee. All tools and safety equipment are provided.
