Maker Break – Make an Open Cuff Bangle – Thursday Evening

Maker Breaks are creative outlets – single, guided sessions designed to nourish your artistic side.  These focused sessions allow you to experiment, make, explore a new medium, let go of the noise, and connect with the joy of crafting something by hand.

Brace yourself!
In this hands-on 2 hour class with tutor Nadine, you’ll design and form an open cuff bangle in copper.
You’re in charge of your design – you can hammer texture, press patterns into the metal, or use stamps to add shapes or text into your bangles surface.  You’ll then form your bangle into a comfortable shape, ready to wear.

Perfect for beginners – join us to get creative and express yourself through jewellery making!

Who can Join:  This is a Beginner-Level class, suitable for Adults 18+ of all skill levels.  Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to follow safety instructions are essential.

• • Metal texturing, using a rolling mill, hammers and metal stamps

What to Wear:  Avoid wearing loose clothing and jewellery and don’t forget to tie back long hair.  Closed toe shoes are required on all of our workshop floors.  If you need glasses for close up work, don’t forget to bring them.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):  PPE will be provided for all courses that require it.  It must be worn as directed.  All specialist equipment and materials will be provided.
