Make your Wedding Rings – Class for Couples – Thursday Evening

An immersive workshop that provides you with the opportunity to create your own custom wedding rings, this class offers a unique experience to craft a symbol of love and commitment with your own hands, together as a couple. 

Designed for a maximum of 3 couples/6 participants to ensure personalised attention and guidance throughout the process, jewellery tutor Fabio Oliveira will teach you techniques and skills required to complete your wedding rings during your 3 hour class. 

By the end you will have completed your very own set of wedding rings, ready to be worn and cherished for a lifetime, and we will provide you with a custom engraved laser cut wooden jewellery box to take them home in.

Materials are included in the cost of the workshop and no experience is necessary.
We are fully inclusive and all skill levels (Adults 18+) are welcome, however, please note that this course requires hand-eye coordination and the ability to follow precise instructions with regards to safety.

Included in your Class:

• 2 rings in sterling silver, to a maximum band dimension of 4mm.

• A custom engraved laser cut wooden jewellery box.

Options:

• Upgrades to band thickness and to gold are available.
  Before your class we will send you a form where you can choose alternative options, if required.
  It's important to return your form promptly once received, so we can obtain alternative metals in time for your class.

Notes:

• 1 TICKET/BOOKING = 2 PEOPLE. Please only purchase 1 ticket/booking per couple.

• BOOKINGS CLOSE 2 WEEKS BEFORE CLASS DATE to allow for metal upgrades to be processed so if you're interested in taking this class please book sooner rather than later!

  • How to solder silver.

  • How to add texture and/or finishing techniques.

  • How to sand and finish edges.

  • How to quench and clean.

  • How to finish and polish your final piece.

Where to Go:
This class is held in our B1b unit located at Eircode T12 KRH7. 

Here's what to Wear:
Avoid wearing loose clothing and jewellery and don’t forget to tie back long hair. Closed toe shoes are required on all of our workshop floors. If you need glasses for close up work, don't forget to bring them.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
PPE will be provided by benchspace for all courses that require it. It must be worn as directed. All specialist equipment and materials will be provided.
