Make Together Classes: Make a Hammered Pendant – Saturday

Make Together are fun, hands-on classes where adults and children create together.  These sessions allow for curiosity to spark and make space for shared creativity through simple projects, and quality time side by side.
Open to parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, godparents, and guardians – no experience is needed, just bring your imagination and a willingness to make something together!

Craft a Keepsake – Create a Personalised Pendant
Reconnect with your teen in a meaningful activity, creating something you can both treasure.

In this relaxed two hour hands-on jewellery-making class session, you’ll customise a sterling silver pendant.
First, choose your shape, and then explore layout and lettering options.  Then step by step you’ll learn how to stamp letters and symbols into metal, refine the finish, and assemble your piece.
By the end of the class, you’ll leave with a beautifully crafted, personalised pendant—made to be worn and treasured.

Who can Join:

• • Only children 12 and over may take part, and must be accompanied by an Adult 18+
  • This is a participatory class and adults will remain with their accompanying child at all times
  • This is a Beginner-Level class for all skill levels.  Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to follow safety instructions are essential

• • Metal texturing, using hammers and stamps

Where to Go:  This class is held in our BS1.5 workshop located at Eircode T12 KRH7.

What to Wear:  Avoid wearing loose clothing and jewellery and don’t forget to tie back long hair.  Closed toe shoes are required on all of our workshop floors.  If you need glasses for close up work, don’t forget to bring them.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):  PPE will be provided for all courses that require it.  It must be worn as directed.  All specialist equipment and materials will be provided.
