Make a Pair of Sterling Silver Bangles – Thursday Evening
Spend your Thursday evening with tutor Nadine in this 3 hour class creating your own unique sterling silver bangles using our rolling mill and stamps to press your chosen patterns into the silver to create your own designs.
Whether a hobbyist, enthusiast or exploring a career in jewellery, we will explore fundamental jewellery making skills and at the end of your workshop you will take home your set of custom bangles.Materials are included in the cost of the workshop and no experience is necessary.
We are fully inclusive and all skill levels (Adults 18+) are welcome, however, please note that this course requires hand-eye coordination and the ability to follow precise instructions with regards to safety.
Here's what you’ll Learn:
How to use a rolling mill and stamps to add texture and pattern.
How to anneal silver.
How to use the pickle bath.
How to solder silver.
How to form and manipulate metal using the mandrel.
How to sand and finish edges.
How to use the pendant drill.
How to finish and polish your final pieces.

This class is held in our B1b unit located at Eircode T12 KRH7.
Here's what to Wear:
Avoid wearing loose clothing and jewellery and don’t forget to tie back long hair. Closed toe shoes are required on all of our workshop floors. If you need glasses for close up work, don't forget to bring them.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
PPE will be provided by benchspace for all courses that require it. It must be worn as directed. All specialist equipment and materials will be provided.
