Training courses at benchspace
We offer training in several formats, from half day project workshops, to intensive multi-week skills development courses for professional makers.
Class sizes are kept small (10 person maximum) allowing for more opportunities to support and assess individual participants.
We are seeking enthusiastic tutors to assist in delivering the current programme. We also encourage and welcome new project & skills training ideas in the following areas.
- Jewellery / Fine Metalworking.
- Woodwork – Hand tools to Heavy Machines.
Themes around sustainable making are also welcomed.
Requirements
Tutors should be competent and experienced in their field and capable of teaching courses at basic / intermediate or advanced levels. Although teaching experience is not necessary, the ability to create a welcoming learning environment is essential.
