DESCRIPTION:\nClick here ( https://benchspacecork.ie/events/make-a-hammered-silver-band-ring-sat-26aug/ ) to grab tickets for the next class on the 26th August\n\nSpend an evening getting creative with jewellery making.  Learn how to make a simple ring from sterling silver in this 3 hour workshop.\nWe will explore fundamental jewellery making skills and you will come away with either a hammered 6mm wide silver band ring or two 3mm chunky stacking rings.\n\nChoose from a selection of samples, find your finger size, then you’re ready to get making! We will take you through this exciting process step by step until you’ve made your very own hammered silver band ring.\n\nMaterials are included in the cost of the workshop and no experience is necessary.\n\nall skill levels (18+) are welcome\n\nYou’ll learn:\n\nHow to use a piercing saw.\n\nHow to anneal silver.\n\nHow to solder silver.\n\nHow to add texture using hammers and/or punches.\n\nHow to finish and polish your final piece.\n\nAt the end of the workshop you will be able to take home a shiny (or matte) new sterling silver ring.\n\n\nThing to Remember:\n\nAll specialist equipment and materials will be provided.\n\nWear shoes with a covered toe.\n\nIf you need glasses for close up work, don't forget to bring those.\n\nPlease bring a hair tie if you have long hair and don’t wear your best clothes. \n\n\nTerms and Conditions\n\nPlease read our terms and conditions here ( https://benchspacecork.ie/terms-conditions/ ) before booking.\nAny questions?
