DESCRIPTION:Benchspace Bites are short introductory sessions for beginners where you can make your very own piece in a single class. Want to get started in woodworking but don’t know where to begin or maybe you’d like a nice handmade chopping board for yourself or as a gift.\n\nThen, join our tutor us for a guided making session on Saturday,19th of August 2023 from 10am – 2pm where we’ll guide you through making a Chopping/Serving board made from our locally sourced Irish hardwood. You’ll have a choice of specially picked hardwoods and can make a traditional square board, serving platter style or whatever style you desire yourself.\n\nWhat to wear\n\nAvoid wearing loose clothing and jewellery and don’t forget to tie back long hair. Closed toe shoes are required on all of our workshop floors.\n\nPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE)\n\nPPE will be provided by benchspace for all courses that require it.
